ABOUT PEPIN

Pepin Distributing Company, LLC is a leading total beverage distributor in the Tampa Bay area and distributes a broad selection of domestic, import, craft beers, craft and canned spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages and waters. Our products include mega brands such as Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois, Busch Light, Corona, and Modelo. 

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Graphic Designer will oversee the build and design process for finished content and materials that are required for the sale of alcoholic and non-alcoholic products offered by Pepin Distributing Company. This will include displays for point of sale, consumer guides/brochures, infographics, email design and assets, social media assets, paid social ads, stock image selection, website graphics, sale support sales materials, member letters and ID cards, presentations, stationery, conference materials and collateral, facility, and vehicle materials.

DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS

• Reports directly to the Multimedia Manager.
• Execute the full-cycle process of print-marketing points of sale.
• Assist with the design process and retail execution for different supplier marketing campaigns.
• Hands-on print-and-cut work on point-of-sales materials.
• Continually look to advance the multimedia team with industry trends and new methods.

Requirements

• Verbal and written communication skills are a must. Both within the department, and with our clients.
• Strong attention to detail throughout the design and print process.
• Understanding of color theory, typography layout/direction and be able to tie them all together in design is a plus but not necessary.
• Must understand the basic flow of a sign shop… concept, design, prepress, production and postproduction is a plus but not necessary.
• Basic knowledge of media and materials used in both large and small format printing is a plus but not necessary.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Pushing, pulling, and lifting printing and marketing materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Continuous standing and walking, up to 8 hours at a time.
• Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus).
• Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions including high and low temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow.
• Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions.
• Exposure to loud noise, vibrations, dust, dirt, airborne particles, and fumes may occur.
